Kettering Pet Boarding
At Miami Valley Animal Hospital we will do our very best to make your pet's stay with us a happy and comfortable experience. We will take care of your pet and their needs as if they were our own. Miami Valley Animal Hospital staffers are highly experienced and trained to care for your pet and to report any concerns to our medical staff.
Boarding can be stressful because your pet is in a new environment and its routines and habits are interrupted. Stress is minimized at our hospital because our staff is trained to pay attention to our pets and handle them very carefully. Proper management of the pet requires they are placed in a clean, dry and comfortable environment.
To prevent your pet from acquiring any contagious medical illness, all of our boarding pets are required to be current on all vaccinations. Even with all of the good care and preventative vaccines, it is still possible for medical illnesses to occur despite our best efforts. If any medical problems occur, such as decreased appetite, loose stool or vomiting, it will be detected by our experienced caregivers. A veterinarian will be notified to oversee any concerns we have with your pet. If problems develop and are persistent and require medical attention, costs may be incurred due to the medical treatment. If the doctor believes treatment is necessary, you will be contacted by phone. If we are unable to contact you and the doctor believes there are serious problems, your pet will be treated and normal fees will be charged. It is very important that you leave a contact number so we can reach you in an emergency or to pre-approve any potential treatments. We want to make sure that your pet receives their proper food and medications while boarding with us. Please bring all medications and special foods when they come for boarding. Please download and print and complete the form and bring it with you when you bring your pet for a boarding visit. Please call or contact us today to learn more about our boarding services.
